Scientist/Engineer/Sr. Scientist/Sr. Engineer
HLS Research, Inc. is a small research and development company with diverse projects which generally require a multidisciplinary approach from our scientists and engineers. Most of our research is related to underwater acoustics, with applications such as sonar systems, underwater wireless communications, marine mammal studies, and acoustic remote sensing. Projects usually involve a combination of theoretical, computational, and experimental methods.
We are actively seeking scientists and engineers to fill several openings in research and development. We are looking for creative individuals who can generate new ideas and innovative approaches to problems. Positions are available at the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. levels in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. In addition to a general science/engineering background, we desire the successful applicant to have experience in one or more of the following: underwater acoustics, signal processing, physical layer communications, wave propagation modeling, embedded systems development, or software engineering.
